Yes. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that persists into adulthood. Many adults weren't diagnosed as children, especially if they were high-achieving or had primarily inattentive symptoms.
Academic success doesn't rule out ADHD. Many adults with ADHD compensated through intelligence, hyperfocus on interesting subjects, or working much harder than peers. The cost was often anxiety, burnout, or underachievement relative to potential.
When conducted thoroughly by qualified professionals using validated tools and comprehensive history-taking, adult ADHD diagnosis is reliable. We use gold-standard assessment methods.
